The free plastic ring sizer is inaccurate because a finger can fit into a much smaller metal (smoother, heavier) ring.

I had to return my ring the first time because it was both too large and too wide. The replacement arrived just a few days before my wedding. The replacement was the right width, but the size was still too large...I guess no one there paid much attention to that part of my request or I wasn\'t clear enough. I didn\'t have time to go through the process of returning the replacement ring as my wedding day was too soon. Now my wife is upset that I have a ring that is too large and can easily slip off. I think that it would be back luck to change the ring now...it\'s the ring I was married with afterall.
